Summer Camp 2017
We are so excited to be attending Camp Kairos this summer with all of our NorthRock Students. Camp Kairos is an opportunity for our students to be in an intimate setting away from all the distractions of life. At camp, they grow closer to God and closer to one another during a week of worship, teaching, and activities. Make sure and get your students signed up today!Sign Up
What does Kairos mean?
Kairos, the Greek word which means a favorable moment in time; an opportune moment to experience Christ without hesitation or restraint.
How much does it cost?
The cost is $350 per student and that includes food (3 meals a day), activities, lodging and more. We recommend spending money of $30 to cover food on the way there and back, and for the snack shack that is open late nights.
Where is Camp Kairos?
Camp Kairos is located in beautiful Roach Missouri. Why somebody would name a town "Roach" we will never know. It is a small town but at a beautiful camp site called "Windermere".
Who all can attend Camp Kairos?
This camp is for students who will be entering the 6th-12th grade in the fall. If you are graduating high school, a young adult, or a parent, we also need extra chaperones. Feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in going as a chaperone.
What goes on at Camp Kairos?
Each morning and evening will be a gathering with worship and an impacting message. During the day there will be all kinds of activities such as basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, a huge pool, a slip n' slide, and more! Each evening we will meet in small groups to discuss the day and the message. There is also a really good breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day.
When do students leave and return?
We will depart the church on Sunday night, June 18th at around 11pm. We will head back early on June 23rd and get home late that night. We will be taking charter buses, so even though the trip is long it will be comfortable.
