JOIN US FOR 7 DAYS OF PRAYER
Hey NorthRock! We’re so excited to collectively seek God and discover all He has for us this year. From August 18-24, we will be reading through selected scriptures and stepping deeper into our prayer life.
From Monday, August 18 through Friday, August 22, you can join us for morning prayer at the Stone Oak campus from 7am-8am. Enjoy individual prayer time with God, followed by a short time of worship and a devotional word. Stay as long as you can or drop by! Whether you can make it to the Stone Oak campus or not, we’d love for you to pray with us every morning from wherever you are for all seven days.
Let’s enter into this season with great faith, expecting God to move, impacting our lives, shaping our church, and transforming our city!

7-DAY S.O.A.P JOURNEY THROUGH PHILIPPIANS
Join us as we read through Philippians. This is a great opportunity to share the Word with your children. Commit to spending at least 10 minutes reading or discussing some of the verses. Try using a simpler translation, such as the New Living Translation or a children's Bible, when reading with those elementary age and younger. For teens, challenge them to read the verses daily with you.
READ EACH SCRIPTURE DAILY AND S.O.A.P.
- Scripture: Read a passage, then write down a verse that stands out to you. This focuses your attention on God’s Word.
- Observation: Reflect on what’s happening in the verse. Note key details or themes that catch your eye.
- Application: Think about how this verse applies to your life. What is God asking you to learn or change?
- Prayer: Pray over what you’ve learned, asking God to help you apply it and grow through His Word.
- S: Philippians 1:1–11
- O: Paul’s joyful gratitude for the Philippians’ faith and love.
- A: Who are you thankful for in your faith journey? How can you pray for them today?
- P: Lord, grow my love and joy for the people You’ve placed in my life.
- S: Philippians 2:12–30
